We had the best experience with Lexy at The Cooperative Canine! We are expecting our first child and wanted to do dedicated training with our Goldendoodle, Archer, (1.5 years old) before the baby arrives. From the very beginning, it was clear how much Lexy genuinely cares about both the dogs and their families. Her kindness, patience, and dedication to helping us understand Archer made such a difference.

Lexy does an amazing job of reducing unwanted behaviors through positive reinforcement while also teaching you why your dog is behaving the way they are. She was incredibly thorough in every session and went above and beyond to teach us both how to work with Archer. Her detailed session recaps and helpful videos gave us resources to refer back to between sessions, which made it so much easier to stay consistent and continue practicing at home.

Since working with Lexy, Archer has made significant improvements in his everyday behavior, both around the house, at the groomer, and on walks throughout the neighborhood. My husband and I also feel so much more prepared and educated on how to understand Archer's behavior and respond accordingly, especially as we prepare to bring our baby home.

Lexy was also incredibly flexible and accommodating with our work schedules, making the entire process feel easy and manageable. We are so grateful for her guidance, dedication, and genuine care for Archer and our family. We cannot recommend Lexy and The Cooperative Canine highly enough!

I can’t recommend Lexy and The Cooperative Canine enough! I was nervous about leaving my young shepherd mix for several days, but Lexy immediately put my mind at ease. She stayed with Stevie in my home, spent so much quality time with her, and truly treated her like her own.

As a certified trainer, Lexy naturally incorporated training techniques into Stevie’s daily routine, and I could see a noticeable improvement in how Stevie was handling her emotions when I got home. That alone made the experience worth every penny.

She also took incredible care of my home, leaving it spotless, stayed with Stevie until almost the time I landed back at the airport, and even surprised Stevie with a few new toys. I received thoughtful updates throughout my trip, which allowed me to fully enjoy my time away knowing Stevie was in the best hands.

I have used Cooperative Canine for both training and pet sitting and they all are wonderful. My dog loves them and when I am gone I do not have to worry about anything.

We've used Cooperative Canine a few times and have always been very pleased. They communicate well before and during the visit and always send wonderful pictures and videos with the daily pet updates. Lexy clearly loves what she does and it showed in the care she gave our fur babies (dog + cats). Of note, we have an older dog who needs special attention, and Lexy took the time required to ensure all of his needs were met. They are our go-to pet sitters when we are out of town!
